Magnetic Grabbers

The Magnetic Grabber, released in 2010, is the most advanced magnetic nozzle connection to the tailpipe on the market. Designed for emergency response vehicles the Magnetic Grabber was the winner of the Red-Dot award, a prestigious design award competition which dates back to 1955.

The Magnetic Grabber has continued to make improvements relying on over 13 years of customer feedback and data. Many Plymovent customers have taken advantage of our “Try-Before-Buy” program which allows our existing customers to evaluate the product free of charge before deciding to convert from the existing pneumatic grabber system.

High Temperature Hose

Vehicle exhaust temperatures have increased since the introduction of the diesel particulate filter (DPF). Clean Air Company has standardized on a 1,200 F. degree rated lower hose to deal with higher exhaust temperatures associated regenerative filters and on-board filtration. We can also offer the entire hose in a higher temp rating. If you’re having issues with hoses breaking down, it’s most likely related to increased heat and we have a solution for you.

Safety Disconnect

Continued product improvement is what has made Plymovent the leading provider of vehicle exhaust removal systems and their third-generation safety disconnect is exemplary of their commitment to product improvement. The latest version of the safety disconnect handle has many features and benefits not found in any other product;

1. It serves as a safety breakaway in the event of a release failure.
2. It serves as an ergonomic handle so you can attach the system without bending over.
3. It allows the lower hose assembly to rotate 360 degrees, so it swivels as the vehicle connection changes position.
4. It incorporates the manual fill valve for the pneumatic system.
5. It allows the user to easily relocate the lower hose assembly to a new bay location.

The new safety disconnect handle allows the user to easily switch the lower hose assembly to move with the vehicle if it is parked in a different bay location.

The safety disconnect handle is a protective breakaway device designed to release the lower 3’ section of hose in the event it does not properly detach from the vehicle. The safety disconnect handle also serves as a ergonomic friendly wat for attaching the exhaust system to the tailpipe without the need to bend over.
