One of the options was the ceiling mounted M-66 air filtration system. The M-66 unit is powered by a blower that can generate up 4,000 CFM. This industrial sized unit is capable of providing dominant air currents to constantly re-circulate the air within the apparatus bays. |

The unit’s filtration process was selected by Clean Air Company employees who are Certified Air Filtration Specialists (CAFS) through the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA). We utilize a three stage filtration process for the purpose of removing diesel particulates and gasses. The filters include a MERV 7 pre-filter, MERV 16 DOP primary filter and 45 pounds of activated carbon for gas adsorption. |

Units are automatically activated and continue to operate for a predetermined time which can be adjusted. They’re also capable of being activated manually, via radio transmitter, or integrated with a CO detection system. Although the units are not as effective as a direct connect source capture system, they are a viable option to those departments that don’t want hoses. |
