Grabber®
The PlymoVent pneumatic Grabber is used for attaching exhaust hose to vehicle tailpipes. The pneumatic attachment has proven to be more effective in capturing exhaust emissions from the tailpipe by sealing the entire tailpipe. By limiting the open space between the Grabber and the tailpipe, the area from which exhaust emissions can escape is limited.
The pneumatic design provides ease of use for securing to tailpipes because the Grabber is self adjusting and attached from a standing position. Measured in the open position the Grabber comes in four and a quarter inch, six and a quarter inch, and 10 and a quarter inch sizes.
The Grabber, most known for its use in the emergency services, also attaches to responding apparatus to keep diesel exhaust out of the living quarters. The pneumatic design allows the system to automatically release from departing vehicles without intervention.
